History

Taiwan STREAM Alliance (TSA) is a non-profit organization established on May 10, 2018 to promote the prosperity of the smart toy industry in Taiwan. The acronym “STREAM” represents Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art, and Math which are the six pillars of TSA. It is TSA’s intention not only to provoke public’s interest in hands-on tasks, but also invigorate smart creation as well.

Under the support of the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, TSA aims to facilitate the integration and linkage of the smart toy industrial chain and ensure its competitive advantage in the global market.

Mission

Taiwan STREAM Alliance is dedicated to developing the smart toy industry’s strategic strength in the era of diverse IoT applications and smart technologies. By forming strategic alliance with cross-sector partners, TSA endeavors to promote cross-domain collaboration and vertical integration. Jointly, TSA and its elite members drive innovation and seek industrial transformation.

Objective

Taiwan STREAM Alliance is a dedicated platform with international partnerships ranging from toy manufacturers, IP (intellectual property) designers, children's book publishers, IC manufacturers, system integrators, makers, academia, marketing researchers, toy R&D center, etc. With the diversity of its member bodies, TSA aspires to create mutual benefits of the smart toy industry by leveraging resources and generating new business opportunities. TSA also encourages original MiT (Made in Taiwan) brands and helps them shine in the world arena.
